recent projects

So I haven't posted in over a month...I think.

In that time I graduated (long boring cold and rainy, in May no less on a week we had a sunny day in the 90ies), I went to Canada ( I swallowed a bug, and my cell phone went swimming, then miraculously resurrected itself) I got a new phone, Job hunted, and discovered I have no respectable clothing.

My newest project is the digitization of ALL my sketch books (I have most of them, my Mother insisted I keep even the ones form when I was in elementary school). Some of the fruits of this are up here. I have done most of my college work and am working backwards. I hope to have the better works up on deviant ART soon.

For the rest of the summer I plan on working a part time job, entering a WGBH contest and maybe making them a short film, Getting rid of a lot of my old shit on Amazon and Ebay (seriously I still have stuff that is left over form my Moms house, and I haven't lived there for almost 9 years !). Make my Website into something other than it's current digital lump. Help my Friends in Salem MA (my home town) start our own Stitch 'N' Bitch Chapter (link coming soon). And try to figure out what I'm going to do with myself now that college is over.


Oh and a note to all you Art School Hopefuls: if you are creative Art school Can get very depressing... Make sure you know what you want before you go, or barring that you find a good department to be lost in. There is nothing worse for a cretin kind of person than the bureaucracy of the organized art world.

So I have offically vanquished Collage (well...except for a paper) and the world is my Mullosk.
Now I just have to find a job.
I'm currently open to doing freelancy things but I have also applied to become a teacher of sorts.
At this point however I'm just glad I can stop working on my Degree Project.

What is next for my personal projects?

God only knows.

I may try and start some sort of GothLolita and Cosplay Buisness with my friend Jacq.

and perhaps making all those horible comics i once dreamed of turning out.

But mostly I just want to9 kick this summer cold and Sleep

So this is what I've been up to lately...so I have finished my Degree Project and spent the weekend working at the Boston Anime convention up to my elbows in badly dressed teenagers. My god.... And I now think I really want to make sure this doesn't happen. Coming Soon some costume ideas in reasonable sizes.... Every one should look as good as Angela and Shannon.

Ye gods and little fishes

Right, so I figured I should probably say something about myself. I am graduating this May from Mass Art in Boston Ma. I currently live among the struggling musicians and "ya dudes" of Allston, loving the fact that I can never recognize what I step in. I one day hope to be enveloped back under the soft/comparatively safe wings of Academia, where I will pursue a Media and/or sociology Masters. My current short term goal is to get a real job and find my creative spirit once more (although, I harbor the deep suspicion that my cat has dragged it under the couch to chew on it)... In my free time I enjoy reading good fantasy novels (by Terry Pratchett), reading bad fantasy novels (by everyone else), watching really gruesome murders (real and fictional), and DIY crafts. If you look you can often find me haunting various dark rooms in Allston or hiding in the nearest comic/book store.

So I'm not really sure what I'll be doing with this, but I felt in my colon that my fledgling webstie should have a blog...
